Δήμος Αραδίππου: Υποστήριξη για την Αθλητική Κληρονομιά – Συνεργασία Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd και Ιδρύματος Athlin

Με στόχο τη διατήρηση και ανάδειξη της αθλητικής κληρονομιάς της Κύπρου, η Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd στήριξε με χορηγία ύψους 1.500 ευρώ το έργο της τεκμηρίωσης και καταλογογράφησης του αρχείου του Ιδρύματος Athlin, το οποίο έχει αναγνωριστεί ως Ειδική Συλλογή από τη Βιβλιοθήκη του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου.
Η επίσημη παράδοση της επιταγής πραγματοποιήθηκε παρουσία της κας Κωνσταντίνας Κοκκινόφτα, Υπεύθυνη Εταιρικής Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης της Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd, του Δημάρχου Αραδίππου κ. Χριστόδουλου Πάρτου, και της Προέδρου του Ιδρύματος κας Έφης Ζίκουλη.
Η υποστήριξη αυτή ενισχύει τη λειτουργία της μοναδικής αθλητικής βιβλιοθήκης στην Κύπρο, προσφέροντας πρόσβαση σε ερευνητές, φοιτητές και πολίτες, και ενδυναμώνοντας την εκπαιδευτική και πολιτιστική διάσταση του αθλητισμού.
Η συνεργασία πραγματοποιήθηκε υπό την αιγίδα του Δήμου Αραδίππου, στο πλαίσιο κοινών προσπαθειών για την προώθηση της διά βίου μάθησης, της ιστορικής τεκμηρίωσης και των αξιών του αθλητισμού.
Supporting Sports Heritage – A Collaboration between Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd and the Athlin Foundation
As part of a shared commitment to preserving Cyprus’ sports heritage, Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd has supported the Athlin Foundation with a sponsorship of €1,500, contributing to the documentation and cataloguing of its archive, officially recognized as a Special Collection by the University of Cyprus Library.
The official handover of the cheque took place in the presence of Ms. Constandina Kokkinofta, CSR Manager of Windstorm Trading & Investments Ltd, Mr. Christodoulos Partou, Mayor of Aradippou, and Ms. Effie Zikouli, President of the Athlin Foundation.
This support enhances the operations of Cyprus’ only dedicated sports library, providing access to researchers, students, and the wider public, and strengthening the educational and cultural role of sport.
The collaboration takes place under the auspices of the Municipality of Aradippou, as part of joint efforts to promote lifelong learning, historical documentation, and the values of sport.
