UCLan Cyprus is pleased to announce the expansion of its academic provision following yet another successful year of operation.
The University seeks applications for part-time Associate Lecturers to contribute to teaching in the following areas for the 2016-17 academic year:
It is desirable that applicants for the positions of Associate Lecturers should have a PhD but this is not an essential qualification. However, it is essential that Applicants must have either a Masters degree and/or professional qualifications or have industry practitioners’ experience.
Previous experience of teaching at University level would be an advantage.
The salary range is € 30-40 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

CO2301: Games Development 1
This module addresses programming issues related to the development of computer games. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills. A good understanding of computer graphics and mathematics is considered positively.
Topics covered include:
- Using physics engines in game development.
- Using 3D modelling tools
- Introduction of object orientation concepts into game development
- Introduction to game entities
- Software architecture of games and game engines
