Εγκαίνια της Πρότυπης Αθλητικής Βιβλιοθήκης «ΑΘΛΕΙΝ» στην Αραδίππου

Μια ξεχωριστή στιγμή για τον αθλητισμό, τη γνώση και την τοπική κοινωνία πλησιάζει, καθώς ο Δήμος Αραδίππου και το Ίδρυμα Άθλεῖν προσκαλούν το κοινό στα εγκαίνια της Πρότυπης Αθλητικής Βιβλιοθήκης «ΑΘΛΕΙΝ».
Η τελετή θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 29 Μαρτίου 2026 και ώρα 10:30 π.μ., στην οδό Παύλου Κοντού 4-6, στην Πλατεία Αποστόλου Λουκά, στην Αραδίππου. Ένας νέος χώρος αφιερωμένος στην αθλητική παιδεία, την έρευνα και την καλλιέργεια του αθλητικού πνεύματος ανοίγει τις πύλες του, φιλοδοξώντας να αποτελέσει σημείο αναφοράς για αθλητές, μαθητές, ερευνητές και φίλους του αθλητισμού.
Τα εγκαίνια θα τελέσουν οι αθλητές και οι αθλήτριες που εκπροσώπησαν την Κύπρο στους Θερινούς Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες στο Παρίσι το 2024 και στους Θερινούς Παραολυμπιακούς Αγώνες στο Παρίσι το 2024, προσδίδοντας ιδιαίτερο συμβολισμό στην εκδήλωση, καθώς η παρουσία τους συνδέει τη γνώση με την προσπάθεια, την επιμονή και την αριστεία.
Του αγιασμού θα προαστεί ο Νεκτάριος, Πανιερώτατος Μητροπολίτης Κιτίου.
Η δημιουργία της Πρότυπης Αθλητικής Βιβλιοθήκης «ΑΘΛΕΙΝ» αποτελεί ένα ουσιαστικό βήμα ενίσχυσης της αθλητικής κουλτούρας στον τόπο μας, επενδύοντας στη γνώση ως θεμέλιο για τη διαμόρφωση υγιών προτύπων και αξιών στις νέες γενιές.
Οι διοργανωτές απευθύνουν ανοιχτό κάλεσμα προς το κοινό να παρευρεθεί και να στηρίξει με την παρουσία του αυτή τη σημαντική προσπάθεια.

At the Inauguration of the Model Sports Library “ATHLEIN” in Aradippou
A special moment for sport, knowledge, and the local community is approaching, as the Municipality of Aradippou and the Athlein Foundation invite the public to the inauguration of the Model Sports Library “ATHLEIN”.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, 29 March 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at 4–6 Pavlou Kontou Street, Apostolos Loukas Square, in Aradippou. A new space dedicated to sports education, research, and the cultivation of the athletic spirit is opening its doors, aspiring to become a point of reference for athletes, students, researchers, and sports enthusiasts.
The inauguration will be officiated by the athletes who represented Cyprus at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics and the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympics, adding special symbolism to the event, as their presence connects knowledge with effort, perseverance, and excellence.
The blessing ceremony will be conducted by Nektarios, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Kition, giving the initiative its essential spiritual dimension.
The creation of the Model Sports Library “ATHLEIN” marks a meaningful step toward strengthening sports culture in our community, investing in knowledge as the foundation for shaping healthy role models and values for the younger generations.
The organizers extend an open invitation to the public to attend and support this important initiative with their presence.
