ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ

Οι Arcadian Child δημιουργήθηκαν το 2013 στη Λεμεσό. Με επιρροές απο το δυτικό psych και τις ανατολίτικες ρίζες, οι Arcadian Child δημιουργούν ένα ηλεκτρισμένο κράμα rock, έντασης και καθαρτικής αύρας. Με ήχο πολυσυλλεκτικό, συχνά άναρχο και καθηλωτικό η μπάντα πλαισιώνει τη μουσική της με στίχους που ταλαντεύονται μεταξύ ειρωνίας, αυτοκριτικής και περισυλλογής.

Μετά τα εντυπωσιακά δείγματα γραφής που έχουν καταθέσει στις ζωντανές εμφανίσεις τους στις σκηνές του νησιού αλλά και σε δημοφιλή φεστιβάλ όπως το Φεστιβάλ Φέγγαρος, Limassol Rock Festival, Flying Away Festival, International Tattoo Convention, Nicosia Rock Festival και Nicosia Youth Festival αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσουν το ντεμπούτο album τους “Afterglow” στις 29 Οκτωβρίου το 2017.

Η παραγωγή και ηχογράφηση έγινε στο Studio eleven63 στη Λευκωσία απο τον Αντρέα Τραχωνίτη. Επιπρόσθετες ηχογραφήσεις έγιναν απο την Μικαέλα Τσαγγάρη. Το mastering έγινε στo Sweetspot Productions στην Αθήνα απο τον Γιάννη Χριστοδουλάτο.

Ο Λεμέσιος είναι μουσικός, συνθέτης και παραγωγός. Παίζει με λούπες, με ήχους και στις ζωντανές του εμφανίσεις εξερευνά μουσικά τοπία με κύριο εκφραστικό μέσο την ακουστική κιθάρα. Πρόσφατα κυκλοφόρησε τον πρώτο προσωπικό του δίσκο με τίτλο Dysphasia, ο οποίος απέσπασε διθυραμβικές κριτικές τόσο εντός όσο και εκτός Κύπρου.

Arcadian Child

Arcadian Child is a psych/rock amalgam formed in Limassol, Cyprus, in 2013. Their sound is defined by guitar driven psychedelia infused with ambient elements, hallucinogenic patterns and cathartic outbursts. Accommodating their style, elements of both the Western and Eastern culture enrich their expressive canvas while their lyrics interpret contemporary society’s status quo after taking a deep plunge into one’s subconscious. During their live performances the band creates a high intensity surreal audio-visual stimulant resulting into a deep connection with the audience.

After a series of impressive performances across the island’s major venues and accredited festivals including Fengaros Festival, Flying Away Festival, Limassol Rock Festival, Nicosia Rock Festival, the International Tattoo Convention and Nicosia Youth Festival; the band will release its debut album on the 29th of October in 2017.

The album was produced and recorded in Studio eleven63 in Nicosia by Andreas Trachonitis. Additional recordings and backing voclas were made by Mikaela Tsaggari. Afterglow was mastered in Sweetspot Productions studio in Athens by Giannis Christodoulatos.

Lemesios

A Goldsmiths University of London graduate, Lemesios is a Cyprus-based composer and performer. He has just released his debut album Dysphasia, currently available on all major online stores.
Lemesios has composed music for a number of short films, and he has participated in numerous other projects as a sound designer, sound producer and sound engineer.
As a performer, Lemesios uses live looping to transform solo performances into multipart pieces combining the guitar, bass, vocals and often unconventional sound-making items such as tin cans. As an accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Lemesios has also been performing with local rock bands.
