Kition Race Larnaca

The annual regatta Kition Race, organized by Begafigo (Fdsc-Begafigo), starts and finishes in Larnaca Marina, collects abt 10 crews. The Bay of Larnaca is interesting for its weather conditions. As a rule, the winds there are strong and start after lunch.
In the first half of the day the wind may be weak, but after lunch it becomes stronger. As a result, the conditions of the race change rapidly, which makes this regatta interesting both from the technical side and from the emotional one.

[RUS] Ежегодная регата Kition Race, организатор Begafigo (Fdsc-Begafigo), стартует и финиширует в Larnaca Marina, собирает около 10 экипажей. Акватория Ларнаки интересна своими погодными условиями. Как правило ветры там сильные и начинаются после обеда.
В первой половине регаты ветра может быть мало, но после обеда он крепчает. В итоге условия гонки меняются кардинально, что делает данную регату интересной как с технической стороны, так и c эмоциональной.
